Privacy Policy
Zebtron Camera Zapper is a macOS application for copying, verifying, organizing, and—only after explicit confirmation—deleting media from user-selected sources. This policy explains what the app handles and where that information goes.
Information the app handles
- Photos, videos, filenames, metadata, file hashes, and device details needed to perform and verify transfers.
- Configuration choices, destination paths, transfer history, and verification receipts stored locally on your Mac.
- Authorization credentials for enabled services. Secrets and OAuth tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain when supported and are not included in exported settings.
Google user data
If you connect Google Photos or YouTube, Camera Zapper requests only the Google permissions needed to upload media and manage the app-created results. Google OAuth tokens are used by the app to perform the actions you request. Zebtron does not operate a server that receives or stores your Google credentials, media, or tokens.
Camera Zapper’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Where media goes
Media may be copied to local folders, network storage, Apple Photos, Google Photos, Flickr, YouTube, NeoFinder, or other destinations only when you configure and enable them. Cloud uploads are private-only by design where the service supports privacy settings. Each third-party service also applies its own privacy policy.
Sharing and tracking
Zebtron does not sell or rent personal data. The app does not include advertising or third-party behavioral analytics. Information may be disclosed only when required by law or when you intentionally send a support request.
Deletion and retention
Local settings and transfer records remain on your Mac until you remove them. You can revoke cloud access in the relevant provider account and remove the application’s Keychain entries. Source-media deletion is an explicit user-controlled operation and is guarded by the destinations you mark as required.
Security
Camera Zapper uses file verification and macOS security facilities to reduce risk, but no software or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Keep backups and test your configuration before enabling deletion.
Children
Camera Zapper is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13.
